Vintage pumpkin-shaped ceramic butter dish with an ivory crazed glaze and sculptural metallic-glaze leaf handle. Decorative, made for everyday use.  This covered butter dish features a pumpkin-form lid topped with a glazed leaf-and-stem handle in a bronze-tone metallic finish. The base is an elongated oval with a raised rim and coordinating metallic-glaze exterior.  Crazing is present across both the lid and the base, consistent with age and common in vintage glazed ceramics. The interior surfaces remain glossy and clean, making it a great choice for butter service, counter styling, or a collected tabletop look year-round.
