This is a rare umbrella that you don't often see on flea market sites ♡

☆ It has been stored in my closet and has never been used, but there are scratches on the handle part (photo 10) and I can't find the outer bag, so I've listed it as near new.

London Fog is a long-established American fashion brand founded in 1923 by Israel Myers.
It is a brand famous for its rainwear, and the brand name itself implies London's rain = frequent drizzle, so rainwear is more useful than umbrellas. The company began by producing waterproof coats for the US Navy in 1938, and in the 1950s partnered with DuPont to create coats using water-repellent materials. They opened their first shop in the 1970s and achieved explosive popularity, with London Fog accounting for 2/3 of all raincoats sold in America at the time. Even today, London Fog is as well-known as a brand for raincoats in America. Subsequently, they expanded into the UK in the 1990s, becoming widely known worldwide ♡
