Retro Showa Era Public Payphone 670-A2
Manufactured February 1972, this antique red telephone is from Tamura Electric Works.

This is an actual unit from when NTT collected all red telephones in 1993-1994. It was received as a gift and has been stored at home.

It remains as it was when collected, with no modifications such as conversion into a piggy bank.

The dial and handset operate well, the red color is vibrant, and the internal structure is in good condition. It is relatively beautiful for a public payphone over half a century old.

It comes with the original key for the coin storage box and the direct connection cord for line connection. A wiring diagram is also included.

- Overall scuffs, scratches, and age-related dirt.
- Dial and handset movement confirmed.
- A portion of the dial connection wire on the back has been cut during collection (see final photo).
    → Therefore, it has not been used as a telephone.
    → A wiring diagram showing connection methods by color is included.
    → Actual operational use such as calls has not been confirmed.

[Lock Operation]
- Drawer: Unlock with key + rear lever.
- Upper and lower disassembly: Operate the lever deep inside the coin storage box drawer.
