This is a collaboration watch between Hozumi Hasegawa, the 26th WBC World Bantamweight Champion, and Orient Watch Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of mechanical watches.
This is an extremely rare collector's item, with only 200 pieces produced worldwide, designed by Hasegawa himself and manufactured by Orient Watch.
The champion himself introduced it on his official blog.
It is now sold out by the manufacturer, making it a legendary item that is difficult to obtain.
The watch case, inspired by the championship belt, features a gold case and a green leather strap.
The dial is designed with the inscription HOZUMI HASEGAWA WBC the 26th BANTAMWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION.
The dial indices are designed with the Open Scoring System in mind, where the scores are revealed after the 4th and 8th rounds of the 12-round match. The numbers 4, 8, and 12 are represented in Arabic numerals, inspired by this rule.
