J. J. Dvorak was established by master craftsmen who began making violins and violas in the Czech town of Luby in the late 16th century. This is a very popular viola, inheriting traditional Czech craftsmanship and producing high-quality instruments.

Made in Luby, Czech Republic, a region particularly famous for string instrument making, this instrument is a substantial string instrument that combines authentic sound quality and tone, using European wood ideal for violins and violas, crafted with the advanced techniques of the finest artisans.

Both the top and back plates are made using a traditional method of carving from thick wood, and its high-quality finish is a masterpiece highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally.
