Vintage Two-Tone Woven Rattan Picnic Basket & Storage Box

Beautifully crafted vintage 1960s/1970s bohemian utility basket. Made from natural woven reed and split twigs, it features an eye-catching, high-contrast two-tone geometric plaid pattern in deep chocolate brown and honey tan. Features a fully attached hinged lid that opens to a spacious, clean interior. The top is outfitted with wrapped dual rigid carry handles, and a long flexible woven loop closure strap drapes down the front to secure the lid.   Condition: Great used condition overall with fantastic vintage character. Shows  few normal light age-related wear including minor cosmetic frays, small splinters, and loose reed ends along the edges. There is one tiny broken twig section on the bottom trim edge (all clearly highlighted in the close-up photos). The main handles, rear hinges, and structure remain completely tight and secure.
