Estate jewelry tray inspection. Saturday afternoon.  You're holding this vintage gold-tone filigree stretch bracelet — four curved openwork panels, floral and lattice designs, engraved borders, a 2.5-to-3-inch opening, and a substantial 67-gram build that looks like a palace gate learned wrist control.  A guy notices it immediately while pretending to understand filigree like he once saw a decorative box and became ambassador of tiny metalwork. He asks where you got it. You ignore him.  Twenty minutes later he returns and asks if the open panels are architectural or simply allowing the wrist to breathe. By lunch he's recruited two vintage jewelry buyers and a woman who keeps saying ornate panel construction like she forged every scroll herself.  The bracelet has become the gold-tone tribunal.
